Working at the Summer Isles Hotel years ago, Tarnia met a local guy called Scotty and moved here for good. But all this may be about to change, thanks to the new owner of the Summer Isles Hotel. Regenerating the Summer Isles is his pet project; in 2017 he snapped up all 766 acres of Tanera Mor. Summer Isles jobs will become year-round jobs. As we drive back towards Drumrunie, we feel we are leaving the old Coigach and Summer Isles behind for good.
