The newspaper reported that Bill Hyers, campaign manager for New York Democratic politicians Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and Mayor Bill de Blasio, is guiding Bryce’s campaign. The Wall Street Journal’s Reid Epstein reported on Twitter that Bryce’s campaign confirmed raising more than $100,000 within the ad’s first 24 hours. Bryce is divorced, according to his Facebook page, but his young son Ben makes an appearance in the viral campaign ad.
