What went on with the red wine, the sofa, the shouting and the Remainer neighbours armed with a tape recorder is one thing that the frontrunner to be prime minister wants understandably to avoid questions about. More worryingly for someone who wants to be prime minister is that he wants to avoid questions on every subject, including those much more relevant to the job of running the country.
