This one-woman show is honest and hilarious: review

Her seventh one-woman show, The Big ‘What Now?’ opens with recollections of her trudge up “menopause mountain” (hot, cold, hot, cold) and comes down the other side with the legendary wit declaring female solidarity in a post-Trump world. Shamas remains brilliant funny, her tongue keen as her observations about being a woman nearing 60. She’s a master storyteller on an almost-bare stage, F-bombs falling like rain, spending two hours musing on what life has dealt her since her last show, Wit’s End III: Love Life. As with Wit’s End III, menopause gets its due. She’s a brilliant writer and strong physical comic, delivering honest and funny lines she’s penned with engaging, observational style.
