A web series pilot shot in Wanaka has failed to win a competition to secure full production. Constance - a ''Scandi-noir influenced'' drama - was one of five finalists in the TVNZ New Blood competition which ended on Monday. Writer-producer, former Blue Mountain College pupil Tessa Livingston (24), said the team behind the pilot remained upbeat. ''We're very excited to press on and make the most of the interest we've built. This isn't the end for Constance.''
