Contemporary dance lovers, rejoice because back to the Capital is Interface 2016, the International Festival of Alternative and Contemporary Expressions. Started in 2002 by Sapphire Creations, the festival is a celebration of contemporary arts and dance. He adds, “This year, there will be a mix of this dance from USA and Malaysia. The Asian context of contemporary dance is very different from its American counterpart in the way that the narratives, vocabulary, the perspective is much closer to the Asian bent of mind.
