A machine that lets you roast your own customised coffee beans from home has smashed its fundraising goal on Kickstarter. Kelvin allows a user to roast their own coffee beans with different blends and intensities for a fresh, customised cup in under 10 minutes. Users can choose the green coffee beans, with options for origin and blends, and have them delivered to their door to be roasted at home. Kelvin allows users to customise their flavours by timing the roast of the beans, then the machine cools the beans ready for grinding or storing. Backers of the product on Kickstarter receive rewards including the Kelvin device and packs of unroasted beans.
