This Weekend’s Free Dark Star Pictures Digital Film Fest Celebrates New Collaboration


'Honeydew' cr: Dark Star Pictures / Bloody DisgustingL.A.’s Dark Star Pictures and horror mega-site Bloody Disgusting are collaborating, and the two are celebrating the collaboration in a novel and entertaining way: a surprise free digital film festival announced a little over a week ago. The fest will run from today, January 22nd through the 24th, and will conclude by debuting a surprise (secret) finale. The festival arrives to mark the announcement that Dark Star and Bloody Disgusting are creating a new joint brand label, and to celebrate the secret screening (Jan. 23rd at 6 p.m.), where horror fans will have 24 hours to screen the new film. The digital festival will have a full slate of genre offerings, including genre festival darlings like Koko-Di Koko-Da, PVT CHAT, and Climate of the Hunter.
