That breaks down to approximately $39 million for each of the league’s 14 full-time members (Notre Dame received roughly $17 million). The Big Ten, which just signed media contracts with Fox, CBS and NBC, is projected to reach $94.5 million in payouts. With SEC revenue starting to soar, conversations throughout the ACC footprint focused on options to reduce that financial gap and the answers were shockingly limited. This aspect of last week’s reporting was the bombshell, not the proposed unequal revenue sharing model.
