The report titled, "The Global Economic Value of Increased Female Participation in Golf" was commissioned by a Swiss biotechnology company called Sygenta. Extrapolating that to 36.9 million women worldwide, the report then estimates potential increased golf revenue to $939 each. LPGA PRIZE PURSES HIT RECORD HIGH IN 2017The LPGA's 2017 schedule will have four new tournaments and an increase of $4.35 million in prize money. The bump pushes the LPGA's total prize purse to a record $67.35 million for its 35 events. Of the 30 official events that are returning, 11 feature increased purses in 2017.
