Carlos Takam is a +1400 underdog to beat Anthony Joshua, and it’s been impossible to find anybody who actually thinks Takam can pull off the upset and take Joshua’s unified heavyweight titles. “I believe in myself,” Takam said at the final fight press conference this week. Does he really have a chance to upset Joshua, who reportedly will pull in a £10 million purse? He lost to current titlist Joseph Parker and suffered a knockout against Alexander Povetkin, but Takam is used to high-profile fights. “I saw Joshua go down,” Takam said.
