AMCAMC is ramping up promotion for The Walking Dead Season 8, and that means releasing a slew of new promotional material and trailers. This image kind of demonstrates why The Walking Dead is wearing me out, while Fear the Walking Dead still manages to feel fresh. Contrast this to Fear the Walking Dead (spoilers follow), which even existing in the same universe, is an entirely different kind of show. Fear the Walking Dead feels more like authentic zombie fiction (if such a thing can exist) while The Walking Dead keeps getting more and more comic book-y to the point of goofiness (tigers, trash people, Negan’s all-around persona). I am looking forward to The Walking Dead season 8, as it’s an exciting time in the comics and TWD does action pretty well as of late.
