A modern-day Stonehenge had been created thanks to one of the islands most famous billionaire residents, Guy Laliberté. It is through his dedication to the arts (and the planet) that the Ibiza art scene has now been transformed forever. Based most of the time in Montreal, Laliberté still enjoys visits to Ibiza where he has also opened two art gallery spaces (Lune Rouge and Art Projects Ibiza) on the island near the center of town. He loans pieces from his personal collection to the Museum of Contemporary Art of Ibiza. The two art spaces that we opened are to share art with the community, and they are open all year long."
