But lately, things feel different. The passion to play the game when it’s good, obviously, but also the passion to fight valiantly to try and make the game better. Destiny 2 feels like it’s slowly dying from both a thousand cuts, but also a few mortal wounds. While I still maintain that the first story playthrough of Destiny 2 is far better than the story campaign of vanilla Destiny 1, after that, during the all-important endgame, everything just fell apart. The problem is that it feels like what Destiny 2 needs the most is to…be Destiny 3.
