Cristiano Ronaldo was officially introduced by Al Nassr as the Saudi Arabian club’s newest superstar signing on Tuesday and said he had turned down multiple offers from Europe and North America. Ronaldo, who has won five Ballon d’Ors and five Champions League titles, will play outside of Europe for the first time. This contract is unique but I am a unique player, so for me it is normal. Al Nassr, the 18-time Saudi champion, made Ronaldo an offer during the World Cup, but the deal was not confirmed until December 30. Al Nassr plays Al Ta’ee on Thursday, but it is unclear if Ronaldo will make his debut so soon after completing his transfer.
