ANC Mzala Nxumalo regional secretary, Ntokozo Nxumalo, came home on Monday night to find his house had been shot at, he confirmed to News24. Nxumalo, an important political player in Nongoma, one of the most volatile municipalities in KwaZulu-Natal, said he had not been at his Vryheid home for the weekend, but when he returned, there was a bullet hole in his door, and a bullet inside his house. He had returned from the funeral of a comrade who was gunned down.
