A man charged in connection with a wave of overdoses that left four dead in a single weekend in the spring of 2018 in Saskatoon has pleaded guilty for his role. Japmanjot Grewal pleaded guilty to one count of criminal negligence causing death and three counts of criminal negligence causing bodily harm at Court of Queen's Bench in Saskatoon on Friday. That was applied against the criminal negligence causing death plea. That day, Beeharry pleaded guilty to four counts of criminal negligence causing death. Kabani faced the manslaughter charge and one count of possessing cocaine, plus a lesser offence.
