Most prominent city colleges will remain off limits for even some of the high scorers, as cut offs remained high in the third merit list. The third and the final merit list for admissions to degree colleges was announced at 5 pm on Saturday. St Xaviers College, Dhobi Talao, did not declare the third list for some of the prominent courses like BA, BSc, BMM and BMS after all its seats were full after the second list. Similarly at Vile Parle's Mithibai College of Arts, Science and Commerce, there was no third list for BA even as the second list closed at 94.4 per cent. At HR college of Commerce, cut-offs for B.Com and majority self-financed courses remained above 90 per cent even at the third list.
