ST. LOUIS — The Winnipeg Jets slowed the bleeding with a hard-earned, 4-2 victory over the defending-champion Blues in St. Louis on Thursday. But the story of the game, outside of a razor-sharp outing from goalie Connor Hellebuyck, was the dominance of the Jets’ third line: Copp, Jansen Harkins and Jack Roslovic. “That may well be the best game that I’ve ever seen Andrew Copp play,” Jets head coach Paul Maurice said. The Jets finished the game with five defencemen after a shot block felled Luca Sbisa in the middle frame. Another special night for the family is coming next week: Dad’s induction to the Jets Hall of Fame, along with Randy Carlyle.
