A third-grader has been raped allegedly by a college student at Tahirpur upazila of Sunamganj. The eight-year-old girl received critical injuries and was first taken to the local upazila health complex then to Sunamganj Sadar Hospital. Later, she was shifted to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital for better treatment when her physical condition started to deteriorate. The 22-year-old college student is now on the run. “Seeing her condition worsening, we referred her to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital,” he said.
