A third contingent of police officers who were deployed in Haiti under the Multinational Security Support Mission (MSS) arrived in Kenya on Tuesday evening after spending more than a year fighting the Caribbean gangs. Upon their arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), the officers were received by the National Security Adviser, Monica Juma, and the Inspector General of Police, Douglas Kanja. In his remarks, the Inspector General commended the officers for their valour, discipline, and dedication to duty. The officers arrived in Kenya on March 17 and were welcomed by Interior Principal Secretary Raymod Omollo.
