To start with, it’s fair to say “Shap-kins” has some work to do in acquiring the trust of local baseball fans. Three-plus years into this new regime, therefore, Jays fans are still wondering if they can truly trust and believe in Atkins like Raptors fans can believe in Masai Ujiri and Leaf fans can believe in Kyle Dubas. He gets Jays fans excited.
