Police are searching for thieves who stole parts of a playground from a primary school on the outskirts of Christchurch. The equipment, which was in parts and waiting to be assembled, was taken by four or five people from Templeton School on May 3. Supplied The playground equipment was ready to be assembled when it was taken by thieves about three weeks ago. “Police would like to reunite the equipment with the students of the school,” they said in a statement. A spokeswoman for the school declined to comment due to the ongoing police investigation.
