It was only after checking his bank account did he realise that he had been robbed of ₹2.5 lakh. He asked the bank to block the cards, but the damage was done, even though he had not received a single alert of any transaction. The perpetrators had used the information in the documents to get the bank to change the contact details, including email id and phone number.
