A stationery store owner says he has lost more than $1000 in Lego after 30 sets were stolen from his business. This security camera footage was captured after more than $1000 in LEGO was stolen from a Christchurch stationery store. He said LEGO sets are targeted by shoplifters because they are popular with buyers and sell quickly. The store owner said the thefts are frustrating as they have happened at a tough time for the business because of the financial impacts of Covid-19.
