The thieves who broke into a car belonging to a cook did not stop at taking her handbag. In a bizarre twist, they used her MyKad and a pawn ticket in her bag to pay RM2,000 and make off with her gold bangle from a pawnshop in Ipoh. It contained her MyKad, driving licence, ATM cards, about RM50 in cash, her smartphone and the pawn ticket. “CCTV footage showed a woman handing over the pawn ticket and my MyKad to a worker there while trying to hide her face from the camera. “I cannot believe that the worker just handed over the bangle to her, because we look so different,” she said.
