KULIM: A man, who broke into a house in Kampung Karangan, was caught by villagers and tied to a coconut tree before being handed over to the police. The thief, in his 20s, was nabbed by Taman Seri Karangan's neighbourhood watch committee members about 8am today. They had launched a manhunt for him following complaints by Kampung Karangan villagers. They found some of stolen items with him. To prevent the suspect from escaping, they decided to tie him to the coconut tree while waiting for the police.
