I worked in government earlier in my career so I thought it was a good fit. When we got on the phone the VP "Ron" said "Frankly Jim, we like you a lot. You're very qualified, but you don't fit our culture." I can't think of any reason why I wouldn't fit their culture but then again, I only got a tiny glimpse of their culture. I'm trying not to feel insulted but I've never heard "you don't fit our culture" before.
