(CNN) College campuses in at least four states are expected to reopen for students and faculty in the fall -- after dozens of universities across the US were forced to shutter their classrooms through the end of the semester. Amid an unfolding pandemic, many institutions have said their summer classes will also be online or canceled while others consider keeping campus closed in the fall.
