These Maple Leafs are the same as they ever were as they head into the season’s final stretch
The Maple Leafs, however, can fly around the country and practise, work out as a group and play intense, close-contact games against other Canadian NHL teams. Something makes me wonder if Nash, Noesen or Suomela will ever appear in a Leafs uniform. But the truth is the Leafs didn’t acquire an all-star player Monday, or the few days before the deadline. So the Leafs are really pretty much the same team they were before the deadline, perhaps slightly improved, with the same strengths and same weaknesses. Loading... Loading... Loading... Loading... Loading... Loading...For 44 games, this team has performed very well.
