On Wednesday March 8th, any clients emailing women's tech community and job board Tech Ladies will receive an Out of Office email. Founder Allison Esposito and her team are taking the day off in recognition of A Day Without A Woman, the protest and strike that coincides with International Women's Day. Former Google staffer Esposito, who connects her 7,000-strong database of women to top tech jobs, wasn't sure about participating at first. But she realized that having the privilege to strike meant she had a responsibility. In San Francisco, Julia Collins will join a group of her fellow women entrepreneurs at a protest in front of City Hall.
