The addition of Tesla TSLA (TSLA) to the S&P 500 will drag the index’s yield to 1.53%. Specifically, I have my eye on a trio of companies whose collective yield is almost five times the S&P 500’s. Kinder Morgan KMIDividend Yield: 7.4%Kinder Morgan (KMI) is one of America’s premier energy infrastructure firms, though from an asset standpoint, it’s a shell of what it once was. But Kinder Morgan isn’t yet giving us a reason to be excited about its growth prospects for 2021. Altria Group MO (MO)Dividend Yield: 7.9%Anytime we see a nearly 8% dividend for less than 10 times forward earnings estimates, we have to at least investigate.
