Peter Lawwell and Michael Nicholson need to use this opportunity for a root and branch approach to football structure at Celtic Park. To do so, Celtic need to get with the times. A modern football club needs people in these positions. Brendan Rodgers is a training-ground manager and doesn’t need to be wasting time doing the recruitment department’s job. They now desperately need a director of football for some major landscaping.
