Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said there was a defect in the intention of the Congress and the Rashtriya Janata Dal and that they wanted to keep Bihar in dark. The BJP leader and union minister Ashwani Choubey is pitted against mahagathbandhan nominee Jagdanand singh (RJD) on the seat. Mr. Modi also slammed opposition parties on the issue of national security. “The opposition parties have neither any concern nor any police on the issue of national security”, he said while the gathered crowd clapped loudly. Mr. Modi also listed achievements of his government like Ujjawla Yojna, Jan-dhan yojna, Fair price of their farmer’s product and Ayushman Bharat.
