Leke Akinrowo is no stranger to the world of the arts. A graduate of Dramatic Arts at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, he had been involved in theatrical productions with Felix Okolo’s Tempo Productions, until 1995 when Chevron beckoned. Twenty-one years after, he has pitched his tent with the industry in which he told Sunday Scoop, that he was convinced there was an eminent place waiting for him. For a couple of weeks, I could not get it off my mind that if I did not do something quickly, my place would no longer be found in the arts world. The company, through its RIEL Records, will be producing premium quality music, upscale theatrical productions through RIEL Playhouse and world-class flicks through RIEL Studios.
