There are occasions in life when you have to be lucky. I'd already been informed after the game against Derbyshire, leading up to the Lord's Test, that I'd be playing. Right then, in the hours before my Test debut, I was just excited that my dream was about to be realised. Today, do you see a difference in batsmen making their Test debut? I'd say the mindset in Bengal has to change and we have to review the structure of club cricket... Have to look at the format, look at the quality of pitches.
