n artistic touch being given by students of the Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University going about beautifying the city with wall paintings ahead of the independence Day at Golconda Fort in Hyderabad. GiriThe GHMC has taken up theme painting on the walls adjoining the roads leading to Golconda Fort, as part of its city beautification agenda. Respect towards women, agriculture, heritage and architecture and nationalism are the themes of the paintings. The paintings are sponsored by corporates under the corporate social responsibility initiative, a press release from the GHMC informed on Monday. The GHMC Commissioner B. Janardhan Reddy has appealed to corporate firms and others to come forward to support such beautification efforts.
