CLAIRMONT, Alta. — An Alberta family has their cat to thank for helping get out of their burning home. The family was sleeping when flames broke out in their trailer in Clairmont, north of Grande Prairie, early this morning. Grande Prairie fire chief Trevor Grant says the cat bit one of the family members on the arm. No one was hurt and the fire was contained to the underside of the trailer.
