Police say the man charged with stealing a pot of meatballs had red sauce smeared on his face and clothes. The 48-year-old from Luzerne County is charged with burglary, trespassing and theft for allegedly swiping a pot of meatballs from a man’s garage. About 700 churches, mostly small Pentecostal congregations, and one mosque have been shut, though some have reopened, a government official said.
