However, among the unfortunate who lost their lives in the devastating fire, fate has made three victims more unfortunate than others. Head of Forensic Medicine department of Dhaka Medical College, Dr Sohel Mahmud, told the Dhaka Tribune that among the dead bodies, no one has so far claimed three dead bodies after the Chawkbazar fire tragedy. “The three bodies at the DMCH morgue are of men, which no one has claimed since the incident. “If anyone comes and recognizes these dead bodies, we will hand them over to their relatives or guardians. The rest of the dead bodies will be handed over after receiving DNA results from theCID,” he added.
