Afghanistan crisis: US President Joe Biden on Monday defended his decision to withdraw his troops from Afghanistan amid criticism that America had turned its back to very people it promised to protect from Taliban. He blamed politicians and army for not taking on Taliban insurgents, which were less in numbers and not highly trained.
