Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward will not be sat around twiddling his thumbs waiting for the Premier League season to resume as he is reportedly set to meet 'lots' of agents and players to put in the groundwork for a host of summer transfers. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to be heavily backed again this summer and he wants to strengthen his side's offence. And according to ESPN, Woodward is planning to make contact with a host of potential new signings over the coming weeks. The worldwide coronavirus epidemic means there will be no Premier League football until April 30 at the very earliest. In hindsight it could be much further into the summer before play gets back underway.
