Decades later, Reynolds, 81, looks at “Alligator Alcatraz” and questions what has changed. Nothing she has experienced has angered her as much as the alleged treatment of detainees inside “Alligator Alcatraz”. “It’s not a matter of if ‘Alligator Alcatraz’ and the rest of the sprawling, cruel detention network will one day shut down, it’s a matter of when.
