An international plastics solution specialist company has been shocked that a progressively responsible community like Raglan still has hundreds of pieces of plastic littering their seashore. This included conducting a workshop a stretch of Whaingaroa beach in Raglan on February 6. MARK TAYLOR/STUFF Raglan local Jacqui Forbes shows some of the small bits of plastic that were found littered on Whaingaroa beach. Plastic Bag Free Raglan project manager June Penn admits that a lot of people think that there isn't a problem with plastic in New Zealand oceans and waterways.
