Many people will turn to music to soothe the pre-date jitters, and now scientists have revealed the perfect pre-date song. Neuroscientist Katherine Templar Lewis has partnered with MasterCard to explore how music can affect people in different scenarios. In the study, 2,000 members of the public were surveyed about the music they listen to during various activities. The results suggest that the best song to listen to before a date is ‘Shake It Off’ by Taylor Swift , while the best song to shop for groceries is ‘Suffragette City’ by David Bowie. Meanwhile, while looking for the perfect little black dress, Beyonce ’s ‘Run The World’ was the top option.
