The other side of Come From Away: How a Canadian city utterly flipped out on 9/11

It was 11:15 a.m. Pacific time, only four hours after the collapse of the World Trade Centre’s South Tower in New York City. The suspicious airliner was Korean Air 85, a flight from Seoul to New York, with a refueling stop in Anchorage, AK. It’s notable that Korean Air 85 never showed any external signs of being hijacked. And when air traffic control radioed the plane, they were always answered with the calm, Korean-accented voice of the pilot. Amazingly, none of the madness on the ground was known to the passengers of Korean Air 85.
