If my sole summer camp experience could be summed up as a movie plot mash-up, it would be the “Lord of The Flies” meets “The Revenant” meets “Oceans 11” — the Clooney version, not the Sinatra original. The teenage camp counsellors were busy tending to their comrade who had been harpooned in the leg with an arrow. My mother says the summer camp seemed ideal. Now, I share this misadventure not because summer camp is bad. OK, that particular camp experience was a William Golding-esque nightmare.
