First COVID-19 vaccine doses dispatched by COVAX arrive in Ghana. Meanwhile, in neighbouring Manitoba, the province has announced that all Manitobans 95 and older and First Nations people 75 and over can now book appointments to get the COVID-19 vaccine. While the overall effectiveness numbers may suggest the Johnson & Johnson vaccine candidate isn't quite as strong as its two-dose competitors, all of the world's COVID-19 vaccines have been tested differently, making comparisons nearly impossible. Canada has ordered 10 million doses from Johnson & Johnson, with options for up to 28 million more, if necessary. The 375-kilometre Yukon Journey is much shorter than the 1,200-kilometre Yukon Quest, which would have started in Whitehorse on Feb. 6 and ended in Fairbanks, Alaska.
