This drone video taken Aug. 27 shows the historic flooding in Houston caused by Hurricane Harvey. (ahmed.gul/Instragram)The country’s fourth-largest city is paralyzed, as floodwaters continue to rise to rooflines all over Houston and residents frantically call for help. The death toll from Harvey, which struck the Texas coastline Friday night as a Category 4, has risen to nine. The images are indelible — and reminiscent of Hurricane Katrina, which struck New Orleans 12 years ago next week. Rescue crews and ordinary Texans worked to pull hundreds of Houston area residents from their homes and cars after Hurricane Harvey battered the city.
