It was most recently the case after Wednesday’s 3-2 Carabao Cup semi-final first-leg loss at home to Arsenal. Insiders say it is purely a supportive act to offer either congratulations or commiserations after every fixture – win, lose or draw. ‘They have done every time I had a game at Strasbourg home or away, they were in the dressing room,’ he said. ‘I've analysed the last 18 months and watched every Chelsea game.
